The New Gases Innovation Award 2024 was presented on November 13th under the patronage of the BMBFD. Four prizes were chosen by the jury and one by the audience. Winners in the categories of generation, transport and infrastructure and application technologies were: Schaeffler AG for innovative H2 coatings, RWE Gas Storage West for the Epe H2 storage facility and Schott AG for 100% hydrogen in glass production. A special prize went to the regional Rh2ein-Main Connect project for its visionary concept. Over 100 applications demonstrated the dynamism of the market. Jury chairman Prof. Behrendt emphasized the relevance of such innovations for the energy transition and the hydrogen market. We are delighted that we provided the venue with our Chapel&Pool location in Berlin-Kreuzberg and that we were able to contribute to the success with the event planning, implementation and branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
